    Bronze Baby

When I went to the "punk: chaos to couture" exhibit, my appreciation for luxury deepened, which, frankly, I didn't think was possible because I've loved fancy things since I started walking. Vivienne Westwood, Versace, Alexander McQueen, and Balmain are a few of the design houses that were featured. Most of the pieces displayed at this exhibit were not wearable fashion. They truly belong in a museum.

As Rihanna said in a recent instagram post while making a visit to the Balmain showroom, "This shit is art, like you don't even wanna touch it!" Rihanna certainly does not censor herself on ...

The Camo Craze The Camo Craze The Camo Craze

I always chuckle when camo gets attention for being a hot trend because this is a print that never really goes out of style. Camo has taken centerstage for the season, but like leopard, this is a print that always seems to be in style.

What excites me about camo being back in the spotlight is that some luxury designers have taken the trend to an enticing level. Valentino, for example, has come out with several camo pieces in its Rockstud collection, all of which I love. These camo kicks with stud detail are ridiculously hot and you know I'll ...

Let's Break Down Some Barriers Let's Break Down Some Barriers

I constantly need inspiration, something to fuel my imagination in order to get me pumped up about what I do. That can be anything from a walk through the park to museum exhibit to a letter from a fan.

I once made the mistake of getting into the mindset of wanting to appease buyers and was tempted to come out with a line of really plain sports bras for my former Los Angeles showroom. But when I temporarily got stuck in the mindset of designing with the buyer in mind, my collection did not work. It was the anti-thesis of ...

Not Your Basic Babe... Not Your Basic Babe... Not Your Basic Babe...

When I started BodyRock Sport, my goal was simple-to create a line of fabulous sports bras for other fitness/fashion fanatics craving versatility in their lives. I wanted a drawer filled with fitness gear that I loved, not loathed!

I viewed my debut collection of sports bras as functional accessories that could be worn from day-to-night! The same rings true today.

Those of you who own our sports bras can certainly attest to their versatility. Which is why we are annoucing a new contest called "Not Your Basic Babe." So, bust out your camera and show us what you've got!

    May 14, 2013, 10:05 p.m.

    An Honest Vision

When the idea for BodyRock Sport was born, I didn't have any experience in fashion design but I did have the best ingredients for starting a company, namely an honest vision, immense experience in the business world, a graduate degree in communications and marketing with an emphasis in luxury consumption, innate artistic abilites, and an insatiable desire for all things fabulous.

Through BodyRock Sport, my objective was to attack the status quo of the activewear world, which I found to be extremely bland, and create a brand that would make women want to rock their bodies from day-to-night, hence the ...

One of my favorite aspects of living in New York City is being able to immerse myself in cutlural experiences 24/7/365. Yesterday, I went to the "punk: chaos to couture" exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and I felt very moved--so much so that I will be rolling out a serious of blogs paying homage to this very cool exhibit, which was sponsored by Moda Operandi, a pioneer in the fashion industry.

As Thomas Campbell said, "Punk was chaotic, anarchic, and iconclastic. It was also heroic, artistic, and virtuosic, and it changed the nature of creativity irrevocably." It is ...

The spring runway unleashed a barrage of new trends in the fashion world-namely, florals, stripes, laces and leathers. With the exception of stripes, we have you covered! Since I was a little girl, I've always been a girly girl with some spice, and BodyRock Sport's floral pieces are certainly a reflection of that!

Bright prints have been blooming in full capacity since I launched BodyRock Sport, and I am happy to see that both the Sophie and Love for All prints reign supreme in the activewear world. BodyRock Sport truly is the intersection of fitness and fashion, and these signature ...

My favorite aspect of being a designer is my ability to create activewear items that can truly be worn from day-to-night so that you can get the most bang for your buck.

Prior to launching BodyRock Sport, I had a drawer filled with fitness clothes that did the job but they did not make feel the way I wanted to feel. I wanted to feel inspired, just like I do when I put on a fabulous dress or a sexy pair of heels.

I'll keep this short and sweet but want to highlight the utter fabulousness of The ...

When I first started BodyRock Sport, my debut collection consisted of 12 bras. At the time, I was not sure whether I would ever venture into other categories. That didn't last long!

When I first started designing leggings and shorts in my second collection, I thought it would be best to create fashionable leggings that were chic yet "safe." I wore The Jen Leggings from The Rip 'em Off Collection to the gym this morning and still love them, even two years later. And the fit remains perfect for me. But they are solid gray with some gunmetal detail. Well-constructed ...

Yesterday, I went to The Fitness Atlantic Show in Connecticut in order to better visualize being on stage, since I make my bikini diva debut in Montreal on April 27! I learned a lot yesterday but the most important discovery that I made is that your smile will make or break you on stage!

As many of you know, when I designed my SS2013 collection, I was on the verge of getting hitched. Thus, the entire collection is centered around the theme of love and marriage. When we decided to create a ring print based on my gorgeous Knight&Hammer engagement ring, I didn't really know how people would respond to this very fashion-forward design.

Fast forward a year. The Hera (Greek Goddess of Marriage) and Aphrodite (Greek Goddess of Love) prints have become our top-sellers for the season, much to my surprise. It's hard not to feel fabulous in a cool design that is ...

As many of you know, I am switching gears in my training regimen, transitioning from the world of triathlon into the uncharted territory of weight lifting. I was thinking about this forever, unsure as to whether I wanted to make the change, and then wondering what on earth I was waiting for. About 1.5 months ago, I joined TBA (Total Body Advantage) and am training for The WBFF Diva Bikini Competition in Montreal.

Thus far, the results have been absolutely astounding. So, when a new Bikram Yoga Studio opened up a block away from my apartment, I asked my coach ...

When I first came up with the idea for BodyRock Sport, I was taking jewelry design classes at SVA in New York City. At the time, I had just finished making a rose gold snake necklace with turquoise eyes. It was pretty amazing.

I loved the idea of developing sports bras that could essentially be "functional accessories" in your wardrobe that could be worn from day-to-night. This was in January 2009. When I launched in January 2010, one of my first press hits was on Glamour.com and the writer asked Glamour.com readers whether they'd wear blinged out sports bras. A ...

I got married to the most amazing man on earth, who despite being a laid back guy, manages to put up with my 24/7/365 intensity. We had over a hundred solid press placements, which does not include all of the amazing blogs that have been written. I also developed so many wonderful relationships with my customers, and I feel so grateful to have such strong connections with so many incredibly inspiring women from all walks of life. It's ...

So, I know I've been driving a lot of you crazy with all of the images I have been posting with sneak peeks into the future of BodyRock. And I've done a fantastic job keeping my couture secret hidden. But I can't wait any longer.

When I first launched, I dreamed of enabling my customers to design their own couture bra, namely because BodyRock is the penultimate combination of high fashion and superb functionality. With each piece that I have designed in my four collections, I have yearned to give my customers products that are fashionable, fabulous, and functional for ...

Fall Floral Trends Fall Floral Trends

If there is one summer trend that continues to prevail, it's the floral print. Even when I thought that perhaps this floral trend would fade, our florals continue to come out on top. The fall runways were covered with florals, just cooler and darker. Valentino, for example, really delivered by incorporating reds and nudes into their fall collection. And the result was fierce.

After experiencing so much success with both The Sophie Bra and The Love for All Bra, I decided to jump the cliff and take a risk with floral capris. I was really afraid ...

We all know that I have a penchant for metallics. Our company logo contains both gold and silver. My wedding colors were black, fuchsia, gold and gunmetal. My wedding dress was silver. And the list goes on and on.

For me, gold and silver are neutrals. You will never spot me wearing black from head-to-toe. Metallics have the amazing ability to give an extra boost to any outfit. So, when it was time to come out with new colorways of The Venomous Vixen Moto Jacket, I couldn't help but fantastize about gold and silver fabric for the body.

When I forgot to register for the New York City marathon this year, I was upset but by no means heartbroken. I ran last year and finished in 3:37:19, a time that I was quite happy with considering my hectic schedule. This year, I was so immersed in planning my wedding that the marathon was the farthest thing from my mind. My husband, however, who is a stellar triathlete, registered and I was so excited to be captain of his cheerleading squad.

When I heard that Mayor Bloomberg cancelled the marathon, I was not surprised. We had been out of ...

When Pantone named tangerine tango the color of the year, I was absolutely thrilled. I had designed The Chante Bra from the Show 'em Off Collection more than a year earlier, and loved the contrast between these two bold colors. What better way to add some pop to your attire than by hopping on the color-block train?

In 2011, both Gucci and Diane Von Furstenburg said that this luscious orange and purple combination would dominate the runways, and they were right. Except for that fact that this trend continues to prevail. Of course, some people found this color ...

I rarely wear t-shirts or long-sleeved tops. It's just not part of my fashion DNA. Two gray tanks in particular that I have been loving by Alexander Wang and Top Shop. And I love rocking both of them with my Love for All Capris, the perfect combination of edgy ...

I immediately thought, "Jeez, really? When hasn't this combo been in style?' (pun intended).

Are we ahead of the curve or are editor simply running out of interesting content? I mean, our signature colors are black, gold, gunmetal and fuchsia, after all!

In the spirit of Halloween, I thought it was necessary to give some love to the undying skull trend. Let's face it-most skulls are pretty cheesy looking, but if designed tastefully, they can go from lame to totally luxurious. I have been a sucker for McQueen skulls for a few years now. I first acquired the signature skull print scarves and have since collected a few clutches--in fact, I even wore a gold lizard skin knuckle duster with my gold sequined Zuhair Murad corseted dress. Oh, what a night we had!

I often incorporate Knight&Hammer skulls into my designs-remember

Let's face the facts. Studs are always on trend. Although I am now 30-years-old, I can't recall a time in the past 20 years where studs weren't cool. Of course, we've watched fashion evolve (studded and spiked sneakers have taken over) but stud details are hot 365/24/7. I am not going to deny the fact that I am a sucker for pretty much anything that has embellishments of some sort, a key reason for my attention to detail when it comes to designing my collection. I view my embellished bras as functional accessories that have major versatility in any woman's ...

A few weeks ago, I was fabric hunting and stumbled upon an exquisite crushed gold velvet, which reeks of ultra glam chic! I then started fantasazing about making a gold velvet bra from The Zip 'em Up Collection with a perforated gold spandex lining, a gold zipper with black tape, and hundreds of tiny Dorado Swarovski crystals...so I bought the fabric and VOILA! Then I posted the photo on instagram and instantly sold three.

The next morning, I awoke to an email from The Zoe Report about the new velvet trend, and I thought, "How did I know?" Once again, ...

I obviously have a penchant for luxe sneakers that can be easily incorporated into my BodyRock wardrobe. Isabel Marant's Parisian chic vibe has impressed me over the past couple years and I've had my eye on her always popular wedge sneakers. I never bought a pair because I couldn't choose which color to get. I was able to make up my mind in a split second when I found this super glamorous gold pair, which complement virtually everything in my wardrobe. I've been rocking them in a variety of ways, and especially love combining them with a slouchy off-the-shoulder sweater; ...

There are certain things in life that women like myself need. In addition to sky high stilettos, hot pink lipstick, amazing sports bras, and skinny jeans, I have a serious addiction to killer high tops. Giuseppi Zanotti, Miu Miu, and Christian Louboutin were ahead of the curve in this department, and at last, Nike and Adidas for Opening Ceremony have capitalized on this trend, and I am one happy fitnessista! These three pairs are my favorites for fall, and I can't wait to rock them with my Jessica Moto Leggings and favorite BodyRock Sport bras, most notably The ...

I have been on TV before but this was the first time that my husband Andrew and I have been on TV together. I had about 12 friends over and we all watched the show together, cracking up the entire time. The initial purpose of the meeting was to show them my mastectomy bras, otherwise known as The Empowerment Bras, most famously worn by Giuliana Rancic, and to discuss some ways we can work together during breast cancer awareness month. Some of the information that shared with us was absolutely startling and reinforces the lack of information readily available about breast cancer and the limited amount of breast cancer ...

Tomorrow, I am turning 30. I have been eagerly awaiting this day for months. Most women sink into a depression upon turning 30, but I couldn't be more thrilled, which is partly because I am entering a new decade knowing exactly what I want and with much more wisdom than I had when I turned 20. I have friends of various ages, starting at age 10 and going all the way to age 86, and I learn bits and pieces about life from each and every one of them. My love for luxury has been undeniable since the instant I was born. And my refusal to settle for anything less than the best was really what sparked my desire to launch BodyRock Sport, since I was incredibly dissatisified with the options in the active wear market. I simply refuse to buy anything that I do not love. I mean, why even bother? I want to feel my best 24/7. Don't you?

That is not the case anymore, obviously. The Love For All Bra from The Zip 'em Up Collection is one of my most prized possessions, not ...

I love lingerie. I love sports bras. I love the finer things in life. And I love jewelry. Sounds like a problem, right? Not so much when you are a designer like myself because new ideas flood my brain constantly! During a showroom meeting one day a few months ago, it dawned on me that I needed to design a sports bra inspired by my one-of-a-kind Pnina Tornai couture gown that was worn in her London Runway Show last year. Acquiring this dress was truly a Cinderella-type story. When I contacted the designer last January telling her how amazing she ...

Lately, I haven't been able to help but notice the star trend. The first item I spotted was the CURRENT/ELLIOTT skinny jeans decorated with a constellation of stars. Then, a few weeks later, I saw a virtually identical pair by J Brand. Today, a stunning pair of star-studded chandelier earrings by Emilio Pucci made their way into my inbox. I don't think that anything in my closet contains stars, but I will say that I am in the process of making a special star bra for The Olympics that is going to be nothing short of fabulous. Perfect way to ...

I spent six glorious days in Miami last week, and one of the best things that happened was that I discovered that AG jeans finally got cool. They hired a new design team, and the difference is truly astounding. One of my besties wanted to make a drive-by to pick up a pair of jeans, and I wasn't expecting to find anything eye-catching. But boy was I wrong!

Neon, snakeprint, and tie-dye were just a few of the highlights. I tried on The Stilt in Tie Dye Ice Blue, and The Leggings Ankle in Snake Ice ...

Admittedly, I am a designer bag whore. I feel lucky to say that I have accumulated a gorgeous collection of handbags over the years, and though my New Year's Resolution for 2011 was to NOT purchase a new handbag for the entire year, which I shockingly accomplished, I nonetheless have a closet filled with several collectible bags that I will one day be able to hand down to my daughter (fingers crossed that I don't only birth boys!). The best thing about a gorgeous hand bag is that the return on your investment can be unprecedented. If you take good ...

Just Do You! Just Do You! Just Do You!

I recently read an article on a fashion blog that I will not name that questioned whether or not wearing makeup to the gym is narcisstic. As I was reading the dozens of comments from their Facebook fans, I was absolutely appalled by the level of negativity that characterizes so many of them. If I were the moderator of this fanpage, I would have erased some of the comments, because, though I don't believe in censorship per se, I also don't believe in directing hatred towards people who actually care about how they look. Since when did we have to ...

Rock your Triathlons (without a wedgie)! Rock your Triathlons (without a wedgie)! Rock your Triathlons (without a wedgie)! Rock your Triathlons (without a wedgie)! Rock your Triathlons (without a wedgie)!

By now, most of you are probably aware of the fact that I am addicted to racing. I've embraced the fact that I am not a normal person, as I don't fit any mold. This especially applies to my style. So, when I first joined the triathlon team at Chelsea Piers, which my soon-to-be hubby coaches, I wasn't too thrilled by the uniform.

To be honest, I was appalled. I vividly remember when he bought my a swimsuit for swim practice. It was a sweet gesture, but I was honestly horrified. Then he gave me a pair of cycling shorts ...

Bold Blue Florals Bold Blue Florals

I am always on the prowl for all things fabulous, and, much to my surprise, my floral obsession has begun to overpower my love for leopard. I never thought that would happen! This spring, I have been wearing my floral sports bras from The Zip 'em Up Collection nonstop. Similarly, I can't get enough of my Current/Elliott Stiletto Skinny Jeans. I already have the pink rose jeans but I recently ordered the blue version as well to satiate my fashion appetite. I am loving that both Current/Elliott and BodyRock Sport are now offering blue florals--The Lauren Bra ...

    Floral Stilettos? Yes, yes, yes!

Fancy sandals are what made Giuseppi Zanotti famous. I remember buying my first pair at Neiman Marcus at the one-and-only Fashion Island in SoCal. Although a few of the crystals are now missing (nearly seven years later), I still have them. No, I don't wear them anymore but they hold a special place in my heart because they represent Zanotti's astonishing growth over the past decade. Watching designers evolve is really exciting for me for obvious reasons.

Now, Giuseppi Zanotti is my go-to brand for sexy stilettos. In fact, both my rehearsal dinner and wedding shoes are Swarovski encrusted Zanottis ...

When I was in Atlanta over the weekend, I was sure to stop by one of my favorite-ever stores, Deka, which is hands down one of the coolest women's active wear stores I have ever seen--imagine vast concrete walls and dozens of gorgeous chandeliers hanging from the elevated ceilings. In one word: EXQUISITE. As I excitedly perused the store, I stumbled upon my fantasy SIDI triathlon cycling shoe, a stunning silver snakeskin racing shoe that will not only enable me to bring on my A-game but that will also complement several of my favorite BodyRock Sport bras, especially The Cher ...

A few months ago, I found out that I was nominated by Stiletto Woman for Start Up Entreprenuer of the Year. Once I found out that I was a finalist, I asked my beau if he could accompany me for a weekend in Atlanta. Naturally, I was honored. Around the same time, I was talking with Jim Whitlow, the owner of Deka Atlanta, and he told me about the Publix half-marathon, which was taking place the same weekend as the awards ceremony. Stoked, I I registered immediately, as did Andrew.

Fast forward three weeks. We excitedly head to Atlanta, dash ...

Recently, when we were exhibiting at The CURVE Expo at The Javitts Center, I met a lovely woman in her 40s, also a designer, but also a wife of 20 years and busy mother of two, who pulled me aside after learning that I am happily engaged, and said, "Kelly, do you want to know the secret to a happy marriage?"

Curious, I said, "Of course." And she said, "Cooking for your man and dressing up. After 20 years, I still do both, and we remain as happy as ever." Naturally, I responded with, "Well, duh!"

I have never been a big fan of Haute Hippie, mainly because the brand doesn't really resonate with me from an aesthetic standpoint. But, a few months ago, when I was home in Orange County for some wedding planning and BR biz, I stumbled upon this gorgeous studded tank when I was at Saks. The combination of gunmetal studs and black diamond crystals instantly caught my eye. After closely examining the tank, I remember thinking, "This is a gorgeous piece, but I know it's going to get holes in it." Nonetheless, I bought the tank anyway, surprised that I had ...

Remember when grunge was hot? Well, I do. I was in eighth grade, was obsessed with Kurt Cobain, and lived in my ripped Levi's. A lot has changed since then, and I am very grateful for that! A couple years ago, grunge was resurrected from the dead when Current/Elliott became popular for making the "boyfriend jeans" trendy. Then every other major jeans brand followed suit. Before we knew it, combat boots and other uber masculine accessories dominated the runways.

Although I briefly succumbed to the boyfriend jeans trend, I soon realized that this look wasn't for me. Thankfully, glamour and ...

Two days ago, I gifted myself The Katrina Bra from The Zip 'em Up Collection, our first-ever BodyRock Basic, and, much to my surprise, I am obsessed. As I  excitedly told my showroom brand manager on the phone yesterday morning, it's so comfortable that it feels like butter against my breasts. Now, as you know, my style is anything but ordinary, and although this bra is plain ol' black, it's amazing. The fabric is delectable; the molded cups do exactly what they're supposed to do, and the metallic silver zipper with the BodyRock zipper puller add a lil' ...

I love my life, and I am reminded of this every time that I meet one of my BodyRockin customers. I am not an uber religious person, but I certainly count my blessings every day. Many of you may not realize this, but BodyRock Sport is about much more than providing women with activewear that is both fashionable and functional. More than that, it's a social movement of sorts--one that inspires women to "rock their bodies" by encouraging women to truly love the skin they're in. Not sure if you've figured this out yet ladies, but men are attracted to ...

When I was a teenager, I was obsessed with matching my undergarments with my outfits. Everything coordinated perfectly. In retrospect, it's quite funny, especially since I was very virginal. But now that I live in BodyRock bras, it's next to impossible for me to match my bra to my panties because we haven't designed panties yet (KEYWORD: yet). Yes, they are coming. So, what I do wear? Hanky Panky of course. I must own 50 pairs of the low rise things. I even race in them. They are soft, amazing, colorful, and they don't cause any chafing during my races. ...

Every time I rock The Chante Bra I feel an instant jolt of happiness. And now that the color Tangerine Tango has been voted "The Color of the Year," I am especially proud of myself for predicting this trend when we developed the bra a little over a year ago. Indeed, the delectable combination of orange Supplex, bright orange Swarovski crystals, and plum lace is a instant showstopper while your're getting your sweat on at the gym. But, with this new color trend, you will also stumble upon so many more fashionable options throughout 2012, including gorgeous shoes, jewelry (like ...

This winter has been incredibly short, which means spring is right around the corner. I always have mixed feelings about winter leaving because that means I have to put my big pink fur back into storage, which is by far my most cherished coat. On the bright side, spring means we can happily saunter around the city, admire the freshly blooming flowers and remember why we are so lucky to live here. From a fashion standpoint, this means I can bust out my sandals and rock my favorite bras and tanks without having ...

As I mentioned previously, I used to detest florals, but recently, my aborration has turned into major adoration. A couple weeks ago, I ordered a pair of Current/Elliott skinny floral print jeans that I have been hunting for ever since I spotted them at a trade show a few months ago. There's a lot of floral print jeans being released this spring, but most of the prints are a bit overkill (I know that may sound strange coming from me, but even I have limits!). Similar to my love for my polka dotted jeans, the floral print that the Current/Elliott ...

But now many pairs of gorgeous Miu Miu sneakers are creeping their way into my colorful closet. For Valentine's Day, I received these incredible gold glittery low tops, which are going to be delectable when combined with my Jaclyn Moto Jacket and Nora Skinny Leggings. Not to mention that wide vartety of bras. Durga, check. Megan, check. Sophie, check.

Yes, I rise at 4:45 am but that's only to go to the gym to get my triathlon training on! My actual beauty regimen is quite simple, and there are a few items in particular that I can't imagine life without.

When Christian Louboutin launched his gorgeous collection of shoes in 1991, he said that he wanted to create shoes that looked like jewels. I certainly understand and appreciate this desire as a devout connossieur of his sexy stilettos. At the time, I am sure that he didn't imagine that he'd be designing shoes that would also act as weapons. Meet the spiked Christian Louboutin heels. Yes, they are insanely gorgeous, and, yes, I proudly own a pair of black spiked peep toes, which I bought at Berfdorf's a couple years ago, but, every time I wear them, I stab myself ...

Alexander McQueen was a genius. When Joseph Knight and I went to his Savage Beauty art exhibit last summer, we were both blown away. I am lucky enough to own a few McQueen accessories--mainly scarves, shoes and box clutches. And they are all jaw-droppingly gorgeous. It wasn't until I discovered McQueen that I incorporated skulls into my otherwise girly wardrobe. I love McQueen because, like me, he believed that there are no rules to be followed in the world of fashion. As he said,  "It’s all about the individual and personal style, wearing high-end, low-end, classic labels, and up-and-coming designers ...

Earrings with a Conscience? Earrings with a Conscience?

As many of you know, I have the honor of knowing (and of loving) Joseph Knight, the mastermind of Knight&Hammer, which, in a matter of two years, has become my all-time favorite jewelry line. I met Joseph in 2010, and we immediately hit it off after we decided to create The World's Most Expensive Sports Bra together (aka The Trenta Bra). This bra went viral, and from there, our desire to work together became insatiable. And, as a result, a beautiful friendship blossomed. He then designed my engagement ring, which is totally one-of-a-kind and a perfect represenation of my personality.

Anyone who has every walked into my apartment or taken a peek inside my closet knows that I have a deep love for leopard. In fact, in my debut collection, I designed The Jaz Bra, named after my all-time bestie Jasmine, who is now a rockstar lawyer kicking ass and taking names in San Fran. This bra was a purple and cream colored leopard print with amethyst Swarovski crystals and purple zippers. This limited edition beauty will forever hold a special place in my heart. A few months ago, I stepped outside of my comfort zone and anxiously ordered a pair of Current/Elliott polka-dotted jeans. I have never liked polka dots, even when I was in grade school. Though I do recall being extremely competitive about my denim collection. I had Guess jeans in virtually every color of the rainbow. This particular pair of jeans stood out to me because they're my favorite skinny cut and the pattern is subtle yet fashion-forward. After thinking about them for several days, I thought, "Hey, I might as well order them. If I don't like them, I will ...

I LOVE dressing up. Sometimes, I think I was born in the wrong era solely because of my desire to doll myself up all the time. But I also LOVE mixing and matching a variety of brands, including my own. A few nights ago, my darling man and I went to a friend's birthday party in Brooklyn Heights, and being that I knew I'd be in the company of a casual crowd, I decided to opt for a trendy look rather than more a "done up" one.

Thus, I decided to combine a pair of lilac Current/Elliot Jeans with a ...

Believe it or not, I thought this may be a bit too much even for me. But I decided to grab the bull by the horns and went for it. I am so glad that I trusted my instinct. The Sophie Bra has become a top-seller and a staple in my wardrobe. I honestly cannot imagine life without this bra. In fact, I am wearing it as I type this. ...

My Mom is a perfume aficionado. She has accumulated dozens of beautiful perfumes over the decades, and a few years ago, she discovered The Scent of Peace by Bond No 9. Of course, I immediately gravitated towards the gorgeous purple bottle atop her vanity. After spritizing myself in this light and delicious scent, I remember thinking, "I need this in my life." Since then, I have fallen head over heels for three of their amazing perfumes: Scent of Peace, Nuit de Noho and Wall Street. I am obsessed with eyelashes. Besides teeth and skin, they're one of the first things I notice about people. Why is it that so many men have such perfect lashes? Hmmm, pretty amazing. Like my hubby-to-be. So long and shiny!

Admittedly, I used to detest the look of false eyelashes, but in recent months, I realized that it's only those cheap and long lashes that don't appeal to me. And a lot of women seem to think that because they already have nice lashes, they don't need fake eyelashes.

But upon putting them on, I was immediately awe-struck by their awesomeness-so much so that they have become a staple in my everyday shoe rotation. They are the perfect combination between comfortable and glam, which is a major selling point for me, as I am always running around the city like a chicken with my head cut off!
